Sparkling Nails!!!

This nail design is very  beautiful and easy to do. You need a purple nail polish and glitter to do it.

1. Apply a base coat, to protect your nails, then simply paint the top of the nail purple and make it fade as shown on the picture – the thinner layer at the bottom and the thick layer on the top. Instead of simply sliding the nail polish brush, you can try a slight tapping, in order to make a better blend.

2. Apply glitter by tapping, along the whole nail,  in order to get more glittery parts onto your nails and you are ready.

It is a simple design, but many people do not know how to properly apply glitter, that`s why we decided to make this tutorial.

Piano Nails.

This is a very simple, yet creative black & white design. When I saw it for the first time, I thought what a great feeling would be the play the piano with such nail design. Unfortunately playing the piano is not my thing, unlike nail designs.

Basically for this design you will need black and white nail polish, thin brush and a teeth stick (or a suitable tool).

Paint your nails black then cover half  of your nail white (please note  that if your nails are longer, you might want to cover 1/3 or 2/3 with the white colour). Draw a thin horizontal black line, between the black and white colour, in order to make the edge smooth.

Then use the thin brush to draw 5 thin  black lines onto the  white nail polish, as shown on the picture.

The teeth stick is useful, when drawing the black keys – two the left and two the right, by leaving the central line empty.

When you are ready apply top coat and … go play the piano.

Ombre nails!!

This nail design is neither  exceptional, nor extremely difficult to do, but it is very cute. There are a lot of options on how to do it. Basically you will only need two matching colours – red and yellow in this case and a makeup applicator or a piece of sponge.

For example you can paint the colours onto the makeup applicator  as shown on the picture and then apply  the design on your nails.

Another option is to sponge the red first and then use a clean sponge to apply the yellow over it.

Make sure the sponge is wet (but not soaked), because this will make the application easier and will prevent the nail polish from getting dry.

When you finish your Ombre nails, use a top coat to finish the nails and let it dry.

Tarnished Copper Nails!!

Have you seen the old copper statues and monuments, which went green, because of the weather conditions? Have you ever thought of a nail design in such style? If it seems impossible to you, I can assure you there is a way. All you need is proper nail polish colours a piece of sponge and a small dessert spoon. So, let`s start.

Find a copper-coloured nail polish and a variety of minty green and blue shades.

Paint the back of the spoon with the “copper”. Use the sponge to apply the other shades over the spoon (as shown on the picture). Use a slightly wet sponge to do so.

Take a different wet sponge to apply the mixture on the nails with gentle taps. Add as many layers as necessary. When you are done, use a top coat with a matte effect for best results.

Don`t forget to take a picture with a statue, while wearing this nail design – it will be quite fun!
